Tracadigash

Carleton-sur-Mer, Québec, 2016-2017

Tracadigash is a photomural and Web piece on the history of Carleton-sur-Mer to mark its 250th anni- versary. We listened to locals’ stories and anec- dotes and then used them, together with archival photos of people, the town and the Musée de la Gaspésie, to build a picture of the municipality’s identity. The mural was permanently installed in the waterfront park between the wharf and Route 132. It was inaugurated on Friday, August 18, 2017, at the same time as the microsite, which includesanimated films, hosted by La Fabrique Culturelle.
